Team Fury

Learning, growing & enjoying the process are equally important to us. We offer programs throughout the year that reflect our attitude toward improvement and we're always in season. Each team has two professional coaches at every event and our players graduate from our program prepared success on and off the field.

9U-12U

Designed to prepare young athletes for their future baseball endeavors while still allowing them to play town baseball.

Spring - 4 tournaments, 2 practices a week, and 2 professional coaches
Fall - 4 tournaments, 2 practices a week, and 2 professional coaches.

(We can cater to your requests by playing a full spring/summer schedule at the 12u level in lieu of playing town ball.)

9U-12U

We understand how important and difficult the decision is when choosing the best option for your son to play travel baseball. Thank you for considering Fury to maximize your child's baseball experience!

Here’s some bullet points describing the overall plan-

  • Hand pick a team of the best players possible for a 10- 12u team.
  • Participate in Winter workouts at BVSA, as a team, from January-March. BVSA is moving to a new, state of the art, 36,000 sq. ft. facility, 8/10 of a mile away from our current location. This facility will have a full size 60/90 infield which will elevate our level of training significantly.
  • Register to play in local tournaments and leagues with the goal of playing roughly 12-15 games during the spring. In the past we have met with the parents prior to the season to determine the exact schedule.
  • The team will have 2 professional coaches and will practice 2 times a week throughout the season. The coaches will be certified BVSA instructors. All instructors teach from a curriculum designed by Bobby Valentine.
  • During the fall season, we try to keep the boys playing together in 4 tournaments and 2 practices/week with the same coaches. We understand some players play other fall sports and there may be players added to the roster to fill those spots.
  • Option to make a full spring/ summer season by parents choice.

This model requires a solid commitment from the families and players.

Over the last few years BVSA has established a successful model for the older Fury teams (13u and above). This model is designed to keep a core group of solid players together, playing a lot of games at a very competitive level. The overall goal is to develop skills, build a competitive team, prepare the boys for high school (during their 13 year old year) then prepare them for the college recruiting process from 14u and on.

Over the last few years BVSA has established a successful model for the older Fury teams (13u and above). The overall goal is to develop skills, build a competitive team, prepare the boys for high school (during their 13 year old year) then prepare them for the college recruiting process from 14u and on.

Some of the boys are freshman in HS at this time and some are still in 8th grade. We usually form a team for the 8th graders for the spring then reunite with the freshman for summer play.

We understand how important and difficult the decision is when choosing the best option for your son to play travel baseball. Thank you for considering Fury to maximize your child's baseball experience!

Here’s some bullet points describing the overall plan-

  • Keep the nucleus of the team together and add players if needed.
  • Participate in Winter workouts at BVSA, as a team, from January-March.
  • Spring schedule, freshman move on to HS, 8th graders play 4 tournaments if there are enough players for a full rosters.
  • Summer schedule can be tournaments and league play or just one, your input will be considered. We suggest as many games as possible. We will also choose tournaments that will provide the most exposure. This year’s 14u team went to a Perfect Game tournament in Ft. Myers Florida. Perfect Game tournaments are the top talent and scout tournaments in the country.
  • We will also attend at least one college showcase. This is early in the showcase process but a valuable warm up for things to come.
  • We can provide recruiting videos, which is part of the college recruitment process.
  • During the fall season, we try to keep the boys playing together in 4 tournaments and 2 practices/week with the same coaches. We understand some players play other fall sports and there may be players added to the roster to fill those spots. We will play at the 15u level in the fall.

This model requires a solid commitment from the families and players.

Over the last few years BVSA has established a successful model for the older Fury teams (13u and above). The overall goal is to develop skills, build a competitive team, prepare the boys for high school (during their 13 year old year) then prepare them for the college recruiting process from 14u and on.

We understand how important and difficult the decision is when choosing the best option for your son to play travel baseball.

All the boys will be in HS at this point so this is a summer team only.

Here’s some bullet points describing the overall plan-

  • Keep the nucleus of the team together and add players if needed.
  • Participate in Winter workouts at BVSA, as a team, from January-March. Winter HS workouts may conflict so we will work around them.
  • Summer schedule can be tournaments and league play or just one, you decide. We suggest as many games as possible. We will also choose tournaments that will provide the most exposure. As mentioned above, Perfect Game has the top tournaments and most of them are a long distance away. We can choose the best local tournaments also for budgetary reasons.
  • We will attend at least one major showcase as a team and will recommend others for certain players based on their goals.
  • During the fall, we will play a similar schedule to the 14u year but will work those tournaments around another showcase.
  • In additions to the video, assistance with the college recruiting process is available at BVSA. We also plan to hold our own showcases at our new facility.

This model has been a huge success for our current 15u team. The nucleus has been together for 3+ years. The boys have created and incredible bond, developed physically and mentally and learned to play as a team resulting in 7 tournament championships and 2 league championships. Several of the players are being recruited by DI-DIII college teams.

This model requires a solid commitment from the families and players.
