Aaron Marks

Aaron who is from Fairfield, CT has been around the game of baseball his entire life both playing and coaching.  He played his entire life in Fairfield and eventually had an opportunity to bring his abilities to Elon University prior to an injury sidelining him from being able to continue his love for playing. He began his coaching career while he was still playing at the age of 16.  Since then he has been an assistant Varsity coach for softball at Fairfield Warde as well being an assistant Junior Varsity and Varsity (pitching) coach for baseball at Brien McMahon High School in Norwalk, CT. 

Aaron Marks is a Certified Social Studies Teacher in the state of North Carolina and Connecticut grades 6 through 12.  He graduated from Elon University with a degree in Middle and Secondary Education with a concentration in Social Studies.  He was the first cohort of a National Honors Teaching Fellows program at the University. This National Fellowship allowed Aaron to gain valuable knowledge across all grade levels and spectrums of students to enrich and ensure his ability to reach a variety of different students.  

Aaron was instrumental in another program called Elon Academy, which was designed to aid high school students who were in the top 10% of their graduating class achieve more and aid them in college admissions.  Aaron’s focus for this program was not simply as a tutor but became the Student Coordinator for the Academy. His skill sets in this program was to be an academic tutor in a variety of High School (AP specific courses); College Advising; and balancing and prioritizing skills (time management) for high school students.   Aaron was most recently a High school History teacher at the Center for Global Studies at Brien McMahon High school in Norwalk, CT.
