Pat Murphy

Patrick Murphy was born and raised in Stamford, Connecticut.  His love of baseball dates back to his early days in Springdale Little League. During his time at Trinity Catholic High School, in addition to playing hockey and football, he was a 3 year Varsity starter for the baseball team.  He was Captain his senior year and earned All-FCIAC honors each year and was selected to the CT Select Junior team. He also played 2 years for the Baseball U CT program, playing throughout New England. Patrick went on to play baseball at the University of Massachusetts-Boston as an undergrad and for the Wilton Warriors during the summers.  After earning his B.A. in History at UMASS, Patrick began working for the City of Stamford.   He started coaching for Stamford Legion Baseball in 2015 and helped lead the 14-15 year old Prep team to consecutive State Championship titles in 2015 & 2016.  He joined Bobby V’s in January of 2016 and became the Assistant Coach for King Low Heywood Thomas for both their JV & Varsity baseball programs. He has also been an Assistant Coach in the TCHS football program since 2016. In 2017, Patrick was the Head JV Baseball coach at Trinity Catholic High School and is currently the Assistant Varsity Baseball coach there under fellow BVSA instructor Ryan Quinn. Patrick is currently pursuing a Master’s of Science in Secondary Education/History at the University of Bridgeport. Patrick has an easy going nature that puts both young children and older clients at ease.  He builds a connection with every student he teaches, therefore achieving their maximum effort, results, and enthusiasm for the sport.
