Born in Los Angeles, Renae attended Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, California.  After high school, she went on to play Division 1 Softball at LIU Brooklyn where she earned the Distinguished Athlete and Distinguished Scholar awards. Renae was also selected to the NAIA All American First team and NFCA All Northeast Region team.
