What BVSA needs from you!

BVSA is committed to reopening our facility with safety to all as the number one priority.  See below for updates about what to expect when you return to play BVSA.  Anything we have below is to be superseded by CDC(click here), OSHA(click here) and CT.Gov(click here) guidelines.

Before you come in

    • Educate yourself on the symptoms of Covid-19
    • Please do not come in if you or anyone you have been exposed to, exhibit any of the following COVID-19 CDC-defined symptoms including cough, shortness of breath, or any two of the following symptoms:
      • Fever
      • Chills
      • Repeated shaking with chills
      • Muscle pain
      • Headache
      • Sore throat
      • New loss of taste or smell

Front Entrance

    • Only athletes allowed in the building during the initial reopening phase
      • Players 9 and younger may be accompanied by one adult.
    • Athletes will be asked to wear masks while in the building
    • Athletes will be asked to utilize new sanitization stations at the front door 
    • Sanitization stations will include:
      • alcohol wipes
      • gloves
      • disposables masks for those who need them
    • Athletes will be expected to adhere to signage of updated protocols
    • Athletes must follow the arrows on the ground when possible
    • We ask that payments be made over the phone
    • Concession stand and FirstGlance Box Break will be closed during initial reopening phase
    • Donation boxes will also be closed during the initial reopening phase

Bathrooms

    • All customers must follow mandatory sanitizing protocols.
    • Signs will be posted for mandatory sanitizer use before entering bathrooms. 
    • Box of wipes on top of each toilet and next to urinals (DO NOT FLUSH WIPES)
    • Professional, daily cleaning crew.  Cleaning and sanitizing.

In and Out

    • Front door is an entrance only
    • Exit through breezeway doors
    • Re-enter lobby/instant replay via ramp only
    • Continue to follow signs and tape on floor directing traffic

Big Space

    • Masks must be worn at all times.
    • Please observe social distancing when possible.
    • Whenever needed, utilize sanitization stations which will be positioned throughout the facility
    • Throw away all of your own trash
    • Use water fountain for bottle filling only

Cages

    • Help coach pick up baseballs/softballs by kicking them into one corner
    • Masks must be worn at all times
    • Please avoid touching your face during your lesson
    • Make sure you wash your hands right after your lesson
