Tyler Caserta started off his baseball career at Bunnell High School in Stratford, CT where he was a 3-year starter. Caserta helped lead Bunnell to its first ever Southwest Conference Championship in 2007. In 2008, Caserta was named to the all-SWC first team after batting .410. Caserta continued his baseball career collegiately at NCAA Division 1 Central Connecticut State University. In 2010, Central Connecticut won the Northeast Conference Championship and received a bid to the NCAA Regional Tournament. Caserta went on in 2014 to play independent professional baseball for the Bridgeport Bluefish of the Atlantic League. Since then, Tyler has been playing for various teams across the independent professional baseball landscape including the New Hampshire Wild of the Empire Professional Baseball League, and the Lexington Mustangs of the Thoroughbred League, where they won the league championship. Caserta ended his 2017 season with his return to the Bridgeport Bluefish. Tyler has been coaching and instructing baseball for the past 10 years. He looks to bring his coaching and playing experiences to help better and guide the future baseball players of tomorrow.
