Kevin Bruggeman, a remarkable individual who has left an indelible mark on the world of baseball and continues to grow his legacy. He signed to play professional baseball with Los Angeles Angels in 2023. He’s currently playing for the Inland Empire 66er’s in the Angels organization. This past season he played every position except centerfield and shortstop. He was the everyday first basemen in a playoff run that ended in the championship series!

During his time at Hofstra University, Kevin etched his name into history by launching the first-ever postseason home run for the university’s baseball program. His exceptional skills on the field were matched by his leadership qualities, as evidenced by his captaincy during his junior and senior years at Trumbull High School and later as the Captain of the 2023 Hofstra Baseball Team.

For nearly a decade, Kevin has been a vital part of BV Sports Academy. His consistent stellar performance and contributions have propelled his teams to multiple tournament championships, fostering lasting camaraderie and unforgettable memories. Beyond being an outstanding player, Kevin has stepped into the role of a coach, imparting his wisdom and skills to the upcoming generation of athletes.

Something that set Kevin apart was his ability to seamlessly balance academics and athletics. His dedication to his studies earned him an academic scholarship, which he has successfully maintained throughout his four years at Hofstra. Notably, he has been a recurrent presence on the CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll and has earned recognition as an Athletic Director Scholar Academic Honor Roll selection.

With his unyielding commitment, inspirational leadership, and proven record of success, Kevin Bruggeman is poised to make a significant impact in his future pursuits.

When Kev isn’t on a field, in a gym or a cage, he can be found at home playing his pups, shooting his bow and arrow or hanging with his family.
