Holiday and Summer Clinics

We offer a wide variety of day camps for ages for 6-12.  We will be adhering to all the safety protocols issued by the State of CT in regards to reopening during the pandemic.  Our camp is a great way to socialize and participate in activities in a safe environment.  See below and email us now to ask us about our camps.

Summer 2022 Programs

Summer Baseball Clinics

Ages 6-9
$ 150 per session per week
  • Pitching 10:00-11:00 (8 child maximum - 2 minimum to run)
  • Hitting 11:00-12:00 (10 child maximum - 2 minimum to run)
  • Fielding 12:00-1:00 (12 child maximum - 2 minimum to run)
  • End of June - First week of August

All our instructors teach from the same curriculum and have completed our instructor training program. BVSA has a variety of well rounded instructors to help teach your child.

Summer Baseball Clinics

Ages 10-12
$ 150 per session per week
  • Pitching 12:00-1:00 (8 child maximum - 2 minimum to run)
  • Hitting 1:00-2:00 (10 child maximum - 2 minimum to run)
  • Fielding 2:00-3:00 (12 child maximum - 2 minimum to run)
  • End of June - First week of August

Summer Softball Clinics

The summer softball program at Bobby Valentine’s is designed for athletes to learn, develop and enhance their softball skills. We focus on emphasizing the importance of advancing basic skills including fielding, throwing and hitting. Introduction to pitching and catching will also be practiced. Once basic skills and fundamentals are taught, the group will participate in fun game-like situations.

Breaking down mechanics from the stretch position to the windup. Implementing proper throwing mechanics which then will provide more consistency for our young Pitchers. Injury prevention is also our main focus.

A class for our beginners of the BVSA curriculum.  “Baseball All Purpose” is designed to attack all aspects of the game.  We will teach the proper foundation and skills required to compete at a young level.  Players will gain proper knowledge and use of drills to better their game and have fun while doing it.

In our Catching clinics players will learn the difference in our primary set up vs secondary. Working the proper footwork and funneling methods which in return will allow us a quicker release. Blocking and framing will also be a major focus in these sessions.

Strike one!! Little Pitchers’ clinics are a way to get your child involved in the beginning stages of our Pitching curriculum here at BVSA. They will implement balance drills along with proper grips and throwing methods. Making the atmosphere fun and enjoyable.

Batter up! At BVSA everyone gets a chance to learn and play! This program will introduce Baseball to young children, allowing them to learn the basic skills of the BVSA curriculum in a positive and fun atmosphere with experienced and encouraging coaches. Most importantly, kids will be learning sportsmanship, teamwork, and making friends while they have a blast playing baseball.

Total Performance Training
