My name is Alexyss Conley and I am from Bloomingburg, NY. I was a 3-year Varsity Softball starter for Pine Bush High School. I graduated from Springfield College in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in Movement and Sports Studies with a concentration in Health Promotions. While at Springfield, I was a four-year starting shortstop and predominately the lead-off hitter while also being a two-year captain my junior and senior season. My junior year I finished the season with a .370 batting average, .411 on base percentage, and a .652 slugging percentage. I was Maroon Club Athlete of the Week, back to back NEWMAC Athlete of the Week, and was awarded NEWMAC First Team All-Conference. Unfortunately, my senior season was cut short due to COVID and only played in one game. I finished my career at Springfield with a .336 batting average, .372 on base percentage, and a .513 slugging percentage. My senior year I was awarded with being the Top 20 Athletes of 2020 at Springfield College.
Currently, I am pursuing my Masters in Sport Management with a concentration in Athletic Administration. My goal in life is to create a positive environment in young athletes and help them become more confident in what they do on and off the field. I am very passionate about softball and I am very excited to make a difference in these young athlete’s lives.Â
