Troubleshooting
If you get a message that says “Initializing tracking system failure” unscrew the back of the HitTrax sensor machine and check if the usb that’s connected to HitTrax is properly plugged in the metal bracket.
“Why did HitTrax not track that pitch” = HitTrax needs a wait time in between pitches to fully track every pitch. If you’re throwing too quickly in between pitches it will not track it. Along with this, if there’s a ball in front of home plate and you hit it out of the way, either to the side or in front of you, HitTrax will track that so make sure you hit the ball behind you instead of to the side or in front.
“Why is HitTrax not picking up anything?” = make sure HitTrax is perfectly in line with the tape markers that are placed on the field or the white marker in cage four
Entertainment mode = typically used with younger kids. Main modes that are used are batting practice and 2 inning demo game.
